Dark chocolate brown leather with a heavily distressed, worn-in surface that shows lighter tones and texture throughout. The shaft is slouchy and unstructured, gathering naturally above the ankle. A wide strap wraps around the boot at the ankle, studded with metal rivets and secured with a double-buckle closure in antique brass-tone hardware. Additional smaller studs punctuate the strap.
The toe is rounded and the leather shows creasing and scuffing consistent with wear. The heel is a stacked wooden block style in a medium brown finish, showing scuffs and darkening at the edges. The sole is rubber with visible tread wear. 98 logo embossed on the bottom along with the size marking.
The boots have a side zip closure running up the inner shaft. The leather has that broken-in look where the finish has rubbed away in spots, giving the surface an uneven patina. The hardware and distressing give these an Airstep vintage character.
