Deep wine-colored suede with a soft nap covers these mid-calf boots. The shaft slouches naturally and folds at the top, giving them a relaxed shape. Two dark brown leather straps wrap around the ankle area, each with brass-toned buckles and metal studs along the lower strap. A functional side zipper runs from the ankle to the top of the shaft.
The toe is rounded and the heel is low and blocky, about an inch in height. The suede shows some variation in color across the surface, darker in spots where the nap has compressed or worn. The straps have a weathered look with some surface marks and lighter areas on the brown leather. The brass hardware has a slightly aged patina rather than a bright shine.
The shaft opening is wide enough to accommodate different calf sizes, and the slouchy design means the fit around the leg isn't structured.
