98 a relaxed, worn-in look. The leather is a warm chestnut brown with a slightly burnished finish that shows natural variation across the surface. The shaft folds down loosely around the ankle, and a textured cuff in a darker reddish-brown sits at the top.
A wide strap wraps around the lower boot and fastens with a metal buckle on the outer side. The strap has a raw, unfinished edge. Three eyelets run down the front of the vamp for lacing, though the laces are functional rather than structural. A metal zipper runs up the inner side for entry.
The toe is rounded and the heel is low and blocky, set on a dark sole with visible stitching. The leather has some creasing and light scuffing consistent with wear, particularly around the toe box and vamp. The hardware shows some tarnishing. The boots have a sturdy, grounded feel with the stacked heel and thick sole.
