The Calvados boots are made from suede in a warm cognac brown with visible texture and natural variation across the surface. The shaft is tall, ending below the knee, and the fit is close through the leg. The toe is rounded and the heel is low and stacked.
A seam runs up the center back of each boot. At the top of this seam, leather fringe detail hangs down, attached with metal hardware. The same hardware appears at the back of each boot near the ankle. The suede shows some lighter and darker patches where the nap has worn or shifted with use.
The sole is a chunky tread pattern in dark rubber. The leather at the foot, particularly around the toe and vamp, has a slightly different finish from the suede shaft — smoother and with more visible creasing. The boots close with an inside zip that runs most of the length of the shaft.
