The upper combines navy leather panels with a houndstooth check pattern in black and white. The pattern covers the toe box and side sections, while the navy leather frames it around the laces and heel counter. Small silver studs are set into the navy leather along the edges where it meets the patterned fabric.
The sole is a stacked platform design with visible layers in tan and darker brown tones. It has a wedge effect that's higher at the heel and tapers toward the front. 98 branding and a textured tread pattern with visible wear from use.
Navy laces thread through metal eyelets. The tongue and collar are padded. The lining is a light taupe color. The toe is rounded and the overall shape sits between a trainer and a casual sneaker, with that raised platform giving it more presence than a flat sole would.
The leather shows some creasing at the flex points and the sole has scuffs and dirt marks consistent with normal wear.
