98 Hamish boots has a visible grain texture that catches the light. Three wide black leather straps wrap across the front, each one secured with a rounded silver buckle. A fourth strap loops around the ankle and folds down at the top.
The toe is rounded and the leather at the toe box shows some creasing from wear. A full-length metal zipper runs up the back of each boot, the pull tabs hanging at the top. The shaft comes up mid-calf and has a grommet set into the folded collar on each side.
The sole is chunky black rubber with deep horizontal grooves cut all the way around. It extends slightly past the upper at the toe and heel. The heel itself is a low block, maybe an inch and a half, molded as part of the same rubber sole unit. Some scuffing is visible on the blue leather, particularly around the toes and where the straps sit.
