Deep purple leather with a distressed, slightly mottled finish that shows natural variation across the surface. The Smyth boots have a rounded toe and a low block heel with a black sole. The leather looks worn in, with visible creasing and texture throughout.
Two dark leather straps wrap around each ankle, secured with brass-tone buckles. The straps have a weathered appearance that matches the overall finish of the boots. A full-length zipper runs up the inner side of each shaft, with a fabric pull tab at the top.
The shaft is mid-calf height and has a relaxed, slightly slouchy shape. The leather shows some scuffing and wear at the toes and along the sides, more noticeable in certain light. The black sole extends up slightly around the base of the boot. The purple has faded unevenly in places, darker in some areas and lighter where the leather has worn.
