The cherry red leather has a matte, slightly napped finish that catches the light unevenly across the surface. Dark rose outlines are printed or embossed over much of the upper, along with text that includes "BE AS YOU ARE". The toe is rounded and the shaft comes up mid-calf with a folded-over cuff at the top.
Black leather laces run through metal eyelets down the front. A wide strap wraps around the ankle area with a metal buckle closure. Black leather piping edges the top of the shaft and runs down the lace panel. The sole is black with a deep lug tread and metal studs set into the welt where the upper meets the sole, running all the way around. The heel is low and flat, continuing the same studded treatment.
The leather shows some creasing at the flex points and the red has worn lighter in spots, particularly around the toes and along some of the edges. The studs and hardware are intact. There's a small pull tab at the back of each shaft.
