98 Saintec boots are built around layered straps and silver studs. The leather has an espresso-to-taupe gradient with a worn, slightly mottled finish that shifts between brown and grey-green tones. Multiple black leather straps wrap around the ankle and lower shaft, each one set with large domed studs in two sizes — the bigger ones are flat-topped and catch the light.
The toe is rounded and the vamp is clean, letting the strap work do the talking. A functional side zipper runs from the sole up through the shaft. The heel is a low block in black, matching the black sole. The shaft hits at ankle height and the opening has a raw, slightly crumpled edge where the straps overlap.
The leather shows natural grain and some color variation across the boot. The studs are bright silver against the dark straps. The sole has a lug tread. There's a small metal loop or hook visible at the back of one boot near the top edge.
