Navy blue leather lace-up boots with a tall shaft that extends well above the ankle. The leather has a worn, slightly mottled finish that gives the surface visible texture and depth. The Saunders style has a round, reinforced toe and sits on a low block heel with visible stitching around the sole.
Seven eyelets run up the front for the navy laces. Above the lacing, the shaft is held by four metal snap buttons on each side, and there's a full-length side zipper for easy entry. The tongue extends high and shows a panel of small metal studs arranged in rows. A pull tab at the back makes it easier to get them on.
The hardware is all dark metal — eyelets, snaps, and zipper. The sole is thick rubber with a slight platform effect at the front. The leather shows creasing across the vamp and around the ankle from wear, and the navy color has faded unevenly in places, lighter in some areas than others. The shaft can fold down if you want a different look.
