The leather on these boots has an open woven or basket-weave texture across the entire upper, giving them a porous, almost lattice-like surface. The colour is a warm tan brown with some variation in tone — lighter in places, darker where the leather sits in shadow or at the edges. The finish looks slightly distressed and has a worn-in quality.
The shaft slouches naturally and sits at ankle height. A wide black leather strap wraps around the ankle with a metal buckle closure. The strap shows creasing and wear consistent with use. There's an exposed metal zip running up the back of each boot.
The toe is rounded and the sole is black rubber with a low stacked heel. The contrast between the brown woven leather and the black sole and strap is quite pronounced. The overall construction looks sturdy, with visible stitching around the welt where the upper meets the sole.
