98 boots is covered with metal pyramid studs and round dome studs across the shaft and along a wraparound strap. The black leather makes up the lower boot and toe, while tan leather forms the upper shaft and pull tab at the back. The studs are densest on the outer side and continue around the ankle strap, which buckles through a metal ring.
The toe is rounded and the heel is low and stacked. The sole shows wear consistent with use — the tread pattern is visible but flattened in places, and the brand name stamped into the rubber is worn down. The leather has creasing at the toe box and around the ankle from wear. The inner lining is tan leather that extends down from the shaft. A side zipper runs partway down the boot for entry.
The studs vary in finish — some are darker, others lighter — which appears intentional to the design. The buckle hardware and zipper are metal with an aged or antiqued finish that matches the studded detailing.
