Deep purple leather in a smooth, glossy finish covers the upper and thick block heel. 98 Vivent Toxic has a rounded toe and a substantial platform sole with a black rubber tread. An ankle strap wraps around with an adjustable metal buckle. The platform edge is wrapped in the same purple leather, creating a continuous color from toe to heel.
The heel is wide and cylindrical, giving the shoe a stable base despite the height. The vamp curves in a soft scalloped line where it meets the platform. Brown leather lines the interior. The strap is narrow and sits fairly high on the ankle, with three punched holes for adjustment. The purple has a slightly waxy sheen that catches light differently depending on the angle.
