Light blue cotton with an all-over tropical print — cherry red lilies and bright green foliage scattered across the fabric. The flowers are large and dense, covering most of the surface. Made in Italy by Cavalli Jeans before the Just Cavalli line existed, which makes this one a rare piece from the earlier era.
The trousers have a straight leg and a flat front. The waistband is fitted with belt loops and a branded metal button closure at the centre front. There's a small woven Cavalli Jeans label inside the waistband showing the brand and country of origin. The button has the brand name stamped into the metal. Side pockets sit at the hips, and the red topstitching throughout matches the flowers in the print.
The fabric is a medium-weight cotton twill with a slight sheen to it. The print wraps continuously around both legs with no break in the pattern. The hem is left raw-edged, which was typical of this period.
