Large-scale floral blooms in white, lavender, and deep purple sweep across a black ground on this silk dress. The print has a painterly quality, with petals that look almost three-dimensional in their shading. Long sleeves and a round neckline keep the upper half simple, while the skirt flares out from the waist with soft pleating that gives the fabric movement.
The silk has a smooth, lightweight feel with a subtle sheen that catches the light differently depending on the angle. A concealed back zip runs from the neckline down. The dress is fully lined in a dark fabric that shows at the neckline edge.
The floral pattern is large enough that individual blooms span from bodice to skirt, and the dark background makes the lighter petals stand out.
