The lace-up design runs up the front through six pairs of gold-toned metal eyelets and hooks. The laces themselves are gold and brown twisted together, giving them a slightly mountaineering look. The leather is a deep chestnut brown with a smooth, polished finish that catches the light.
Diagonal stitching runs across the upper in a radiating pattern from the toe toward the ankle, creating visible panels. The stitching is done in a contrasting lighter thread that stands out against the darker leather. The toe is rounded and the collar is padded around the ankle opening.
The sole is black and chunky with a deep lug tread. It's stitched to the upper with visible white contrast stitching that runs all the way around. The heel is low and blocky, part of the same black sole unit. There's a small pull tab at the back of each boot.
