98 Atwell boot has a tall shaft that slouches and folds over at the top, secured with four silver snap buttons down the outer side. The leather has a metallic, almost oil-slick finish in dark navy with bronze and gunmetal tones that shift in the light. The grain is visible and slightly textured.
The toe is rounded and the heel is low and blocky, showing some wear on the edges. The sole is dark and treaded. There's a side zipper closure, visible from the back view, with a metal pull. Small embossed branding appears on the lower outer side of the boot.
The shaft can be worn tall or folded down for a shorter look, held in place by the snap closures. The leather shows some natural creasing where the boot bends at the ankle. The metallic finish gives the surface an iridescent quality that changes from navy to bronze depending on how the light hits it.
