Mid-calf boots in black leather with an embossed crocodile texture across the entire surface. The pattern has a convincing scale-like look with visible depth and shine. The shaft is loose and slouchy rather than structured, creating soft folds and wrinkles down the leg.
Two straps wrap around each boot at the ankle, secured with metal buckles and studs. The hardware has a dark gunmetal finish. A back zipper runs up the shaft for closure.
The toe is rounded and the sole is thick and flat, giving the boots a sturdy, grounded look. The leather shows creasing at the vamp and around the ankle where the material bends naturally. The heel counter has similar textured detailing and the same crocodile embossing continues all the way down to meet the sole.
98 has that lived-in, slightly rugged character the brand is known for. The combination of the reptile texture and the buckled straps gives these boots a moto-inspired edge.
