Black leather hiking boots with a chunky platform sole and a thick, lugged tread. The upper is matte black leather throughout, with a padded ankle collar and tongue that extend higher than usual. Metal D-ring eyelets run up the front for the black laces, and there's a hook-and-loop strap across the top of the foot with two more metal eyelets set into a reinforced panel.
The sole is substantial, with a grey midsole section visible between the black upper and the black treaded outsole. The toe is round and the overall build is heavy. The tongue has a fabric pull tab. The ankle padding shows a quilted texture on the inside.
These sit on a thick platform that gives them real height. The tread pattern is deep and aggressive. The round toe and the lacing hardware give them a hiking boot look, but the platform sole and the proportions make them more of a fashion take on that style.
