The upper is smoke-colored leather with a smooth, slightly burnished finish that shifts between grey-brown and olive tones depending on the light. Multiple black leather straps wrap around the ankle and shaft, each one studded with flat silver-toned rivets in two sizes — larger dome studs along the main straps and smaller ones clustered between them. The straps buckle at the sides and create an overlapping, layered look.
The toe is rounded and the heel is a low stacked style in black. There's a functional zipper running up the inner side of the boot with a leather pull tab at the top. The shaft hits at ankle height. The leather shows some natural variation in tone across the surface, darker in the creases and around the hardware. The black straps contrast with the smoke base and the hardware catches the light. 98 tag is still attached.
