98 boots folds down at the top, creating a slouchy cuff that sits just above the ankle. The upper is made from grey leather with a metallic, slightly textured finish that catches the light. Two tan leather straps wrap around each boot, secured with silver-toned buckles — one sits higher on the shaft, the other crosses lower near the ankle.
The toe is open, showing the front of the foot. A functional zip runs up the inner side of each boot. The heel is a block style in medium brown, stacked construction with visible layers. White contrast stitching outlines the welt where the upper meets the sole. The sole itself is dark with the same white stitching detail continuing around the edge.
The tan straps show some creasing and darker wear marks where they bend and around the buckle holes. The metallic finish on the grey leather has light scuffing in places, more visible on the toes and around the folded cuff areas.
