The black leather has a matte, slightly pebbled surface with visible grain throughout. The toe is rounded and the laces thread through four eyelets on each boot. A thick strap wraps around each ankle, secured with metal studs and a small buckle detail on the outer side.
The collar folds over and is lined in purple fabric that contrasts with the black exterior. The same purple lining is visible inside the boot shaft.
The sole is chunky and deeply lugged, black rubber with a pale cream midsole stripe running around the perimeter where it meets the upper. The tread is aggressive with rectangular blocks. There's a back pull tab at the heel and a side zipper closure.
The leather shows some natural creasing at the flex points near the toe and around the lacing area. The Star Boots have a utilitarian build with the decorative studs and purple lining adding detail to an otherwise straightforward work boot shape.
