The upper is made from a matte black canvas or nylon textile that extends up to a mid-height ankle. Bright fuchsia eyelets run up each side, laced with black round laces that tie at the top. A gathered ruffle in black rubber or coated material wraps around the base of the upper where it meets the sole, creating a ridged, scalloped effect. Small white text is printed on this gathered section.
The sole is chunky and textured, moulded in one piece with deep lugs across the bottom for traction. The heel and platform are part of the same thick sole unit. The toe is rounded and the entire front is covered by the same gathered black material that wraps the base.
A white tab with black text sits at the back of each heel. The shoes come with a drawstring dust bag printed with F_WD in black.
