98 boots is made from aubergine leather with a distressed, worn-in texture. The upper bunches and gathers naturally around the ankle, where a strap wraps across with a chunky silver-toned zipper pull as the buckle detail. The leather on the lower foot and toe has a smoother, shinier finish in a darker eggplant tone.
The toe is rounded and the heel is a low stacked block. Inside, there's a dark fur lining that extends up the shaft. S 98" is visible on a tag or label near the opening.
The leather shows natural creasing and some scuffing, especially on the toes and around the ankle area where the strap sits. The shaft has a relaxed, unstructured drape. The zipper hardware has some tarnishing or darkening to the metal.
