98 boots has a mottled, distressed finish in dark brown with lighter brown and grey tones showing through. The texture looks deliberately worn and uneven, giving them a rugged character. They come up to mid-calf and sit on a block heel.
Two leather straps wrap around each boot at different heights, secured with metal hardware that includes D-rings and buckle-style fastenings. The straps appear adjustable. A zipper runs up the back of each boot with a small metal pull tab. The top edge has a scalloped trim detail.
The heel is stacked and shows some wear to the edges. Inside, there's a pale fabric lining. Small metal charms hang from the back straps on thin cords.
The leather has a soft sheen in places where the distressing catches the light differently. The overall look is quite textured and lived-in.
